MEREDITH
WARREN has the experience it takes to help
you get your message heard in the news media.
Meredith is a former newspaper reporter with an extensive
resume. She covered the Massachusetts Statehouse from 2002
to 2004 for The Eagle-Tribune newspaper in Lawrence, and was
part of a team of staff reporters who won a Pulitzer Prize
for breaking news in 2003. She also has
experience covering Congress in Washington, D.C.
From 2005 to 2008 she worked in the Office of the
Massachusetts House Minority Leader as Deputy Chief of Staff
and Communications Director. She also has spoken at a
national writers conference. Meredith is a 2001 graduate of
Boston University’s College of Communications and the
Boston University
Washington Journalism Center.
Meredith has extensive contacts in the Massachusetts news
media and she knows what reporters are looking to cover.

FREDERICK
VAN MAGNESS, JR. is a former civil
litigation attorney. After graduating from Tufts University
and Boston College
Law School, he worked for several years trying civil cases
as an associate in a well-established Boston law firm.
In 2002, Fred joined the policy staff in the Office of the
Minority Leader of the Massachusetts House of
Representatives. He worked extensively with elected
officials and advocacy groups to draft successful public
policy and to navigate tough political waters. His work
eventually led him to be promoted to the dual positions of
Chief of Staff and Senior Legal Counsel.
Fred has experience working in state and local politics
through work for the Republican State Committee, his local
town committee, and state and local campaigns. He also
served as the former vice chairman of a political action
committee and has worked with several civic organizations.
